Over 40,000 People Vaccinated in Hitex Ground Mega Vaccine Drive

In the course of a mega-vaccine drive held on Sunday in Hitex Grounds, Madhapur, over 40,000 persons over 18 years received vaccines. The day-long vaccination tour was organized by Medicover Hospitals, Cyberabad Police Commission, and the Cyberabad Security Council Society (SCSC). 

COVID Mega Vaccine Drive in Hyderabad 

In the presence of Cyberabad Police Commissioner, VC Sajjanar, and local public officials, the Director of Public Health Dr. G Srinivasa Rao opened the COVID vaccination distributing drive. 

Executive Director Hari Krishna, Medicover Hospital Group, said that in three halls, there have been a total of 300 vaccinating stations. They also employed 700 nurses and set up an emergency five-bed facility. Ten emergency patients were kept ready for being transported to the hospitals. Approximately 300 Medicover administrative staff and 150 SCSC volunteers were roped in the vaccine drive. People who had previously registered with the Co-Win application had to walk in, pay the vaccine costs by means of a QR code, and get the vaccine. Bharat Biotech developed Covaxin during a mega vaccination drive for the administration.
