Housing stocks falls unsold in Q3

Q3 witnesses fall in unsold housing stocks

 

PropEquity said that unsold housing stocks had dropped 10 per cent in 4,61,600 units across 9 major cities.  

Even after facing many challenges, home sales strongly recovered this year, and demand in the industry is growing", said Samir Jasuja, the Founder and Managing Director of PropEquity. 

In Kolkata, unsold housing stocks fell to 12 percent in 17,715 units from 20,096 units at the end of the September quarter. 

In Mumbai, unsold housing stocks declined 5 percent to 58,587 units from 61,755 units. 

Unsold residential stocks in Delhi fell 10 percent to 41,693 units from 46,452 units. 

Bengaluru saw a decline of 16 percent in stocks to 49,246 units from 58,390 units.  

Pune witnessed an 11 percent fall to 65,612 units from 73,644 units. 

Unsold housing stocks in Hyderabad were at 84,545 units at the end of December, from 93,473 units.  

The sales increased in Q4 and 2022 as home purchases have improved and many customers are back in the market.
