As a team led by Western Australia's Minister for Emergency Services, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Stephen Dawson, visited the state-run business incubators T-Hub and WE-Hub on Sunday; three MoUs were signed between the governments of Telangana and Western Australia.
The first MoU between the government-funded innovation hub CyberWest in Western Australia and the Hyderabad-based Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (DSCI) will combine the knowledge of both organizations.
The second MoU was between the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (DSCI) and Edith Cowan University.
The third MoU was a Letter of Intent between WE-Hub and CyberWest, which would foster diversity and inclusion within the cybersecurity industry and speed up ecosystem growth on a local and global level.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Dawson said that Western Australia is home to some of the world's top organizations for cybersecurity research and innovation. This visit aims to interact with the Telangana ecosystem, comprehend the priorities, and communicate Western Australia's potential in creation, the digital economy, and medical research. The group also visited Skyroot Aerospace Private Limited's facilities on Sunday night.
