Telangana Registrations Income Exceeds The Precovid Era

Telangana Registration's Income Exceeds The Pre-Covid Era

The elevated land rates four months ago appear to have made no-notch in the revenues as the registration department's coffers persist to surge. The government has earned twice the revenue as the pre covid times in the past eight months and thrice the revenue earned in 2020-2021.

Of the twelve lakh documents registered by the registration and stamps department, more than three lakh belong to properties that were registered through the Dharani web land portal.

Senior officials were impressed with the response taking into consideration the government's decision to raise the land value in recent times. They felt that this indicated a booming comeback of the Telangana Realty sector.

The office also exclaimed that they have earned revenue surpassing Rs.1,000 Cr in only a month. The government also hinted that many unregistered properties are up for sale as soon as the legal technicalities and procedures are completed. Major revenue is expected through these prospective sales.

The realty sector has seen rapid growth since December 2020. Revenue officials have also declared that Telangana is one of the only states who have risen from the destruction of the pandemic with such prosperity.
