The TRS government will shortly begin to extend financial support to owners who have residential properties to build 2BHK units. 

At the opening of 56 houses in the district Gajwel, Minister of Finance T Harish Rao said that the project will cost around Rs 3,72 crore. One of the TRS government's 2018 electoral promises was to provide financial assistance for building 2BHK units. 

The TRS promised that financial support would be provided to owners of land so that they would be able to build 2BHK units on their own land without waiting for the government to do so on government land.
