330 Families to Get Houses Under Government’s Flagship Housing Scheme
On June 26, 330 families were granted access to lake-view apartments in Ambedkar Nagar, near Hussainsagar, as part of the government's 2-BHK housing scheme. The 330 families are among the 784 from economically weaker sections who will get houses under the government's flagship housing scheme in the next two weeks.

The 330 apartments are spread across seven blocks in the society, which has ten elevators and twenty-six shops. The houses cost slightly more than Rs 28 lakh, with each unit costing Rs 8.5 lakh.
Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao said at the inauguration, no other state has undertaken a housing program as massive as Telangana's Dignity Housing Scheme. The market value of each flat in Ambedkar Nagar is Rs 1.5 crore.
