A slot booking for registration of non-agricultural properties is necessary, according to a new circular that has been issued by the commissioner and officer of registration and stamps.

As registrations of non-agricultural properties had already begun on December 14 and the circular was issued on December 15, the same previous slot booking should be created on the department's portal.

On Wednesday, Chief secretary Somesh Kumar commanded a gathering with bankers and explained the new registration method for agriculture and non-agriculture assets and processed their doubts about registration. A close presentation was created on the banking and mortgage module. The bankers assured that they'd collaborate with the government for the entire method of registrations.

According to the circular on slot booking for registration, the applicant ought to fill in the info giving details of the transferrer, transferee, and the property transacted at the time of the slot booking itself. As per the circular, supporting the property details that area unit entered, the property's market price shows up within the system. Stamp duty, transfer duty, and registration fees that have to be compelled to be purchased are auto-calculated by the system itself. The quantity can have to be obligated to be paid fully at the time of the slot booking.

It has been processed that the parties will create use of the templates of deeds that are already available on the net portal or prepare their documents. "The department owes no responsibility relating to agreements of the documents," the circular said.
