HMDA plans to sell 38 land parcels to obtain Rs. 2,000 crores

After the shortcoming of selling Rajiv Swagruha flats at Bandlaguda and Pocharam to the potential developers, the state government is formulating to sell land parcels to the developers in and around the city of Hyderabad. 

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) expects to procure Rs. 2,000 crores by auctioning 38 land parcels, respectively. 

 HMDA officials have stated that the land parcels measuring between 320 - 9860 square yards in Nallagandla, Kokapet, Sultanpur, Moosapet, Bachupally, Ameenpur, Patelguda, Puppalguda, Peeramcheru in Rangareddy, etc., are to be auctioned.  

Anticipating a striking response, the government has secured Rs. 1.5 lakh per square yard for Nallagandla, Rs. 1.1 lakh for Kokapet and Rs. 60,000 for Puppalguda.  

The government has also secured Rs. 70,000 per square yard in Ameenpur, Patelguda and Moosapet. The lowest price fixed is 10,000 per square yard in Isnapur.
