Owaisi Junction Flyover To Be Thrown Open On Dec 28
The three-lane unidirectional flyover constructed at Owaisi Junction is scheduled for inauguration on December 28, 2021. The flyover is 1.36 km long and 12 m wide and is assembled with an approximate cost of Rs 63 crores. The flyover is being built under the State government’s Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP). Whilst, under the flyover, saplings were planted and vertical gardens have been formulated on its pillars.
KT Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister, Asaduddin Owaisi, the Hyderabad MP, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi, etc, ordained representatives who are anticipated to partake in the inauguration. Traffic jams at the two busy areas of Chandrayangutta i.e. Owaisi Hospital Junction and Midhani Junction are predicted to be handled once this flyover is made accessible.
Traffic appearing from Midhani Junction and moving towards Owaisi Hospital Junction and stopping around 300 meters away from the Owaisi Hospital junction will be curtailed by this flyover.
A GHMC engineer monitoring the project exclaimed that the tabs of commuters using the busy Owaisi Junction Road will be boosted. He said, "Besides being useful for locals, the flyover will be of great use to Central government employees working in DRDO, DRDL, ASL".
