Hyderabad is likely to receive seamless connectivity to ORR

After successfully formulating link roads in various areas of the city, the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDCL) will forthwith take up the development of link roads in frontier areas to assure hassle-free connectivity till the Outer Ring Road (ORR).

This endeavor will help in handling traffic crises in different areas along with opening up new growth areas.

The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar spoke on the sidelines of CREDAI Telangana’s first conclave.

Arvind Kumar said many of the 160 stretches being observed were proposed by CREDAI members. He asserted that banks would provide loans for this project, and the revenue earned would repay them, removing financial burdens on the State Government.

He stated the government was trying to set up a TS Road Development Corporation to expand bypass roads and expressways for developing cities.

Emphasizing road infrastructure and smooth traffic flow in the city, the State government will shortly disclose a draft policy on Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA). A committee would be composed to analyze the excess traffic load and recommend measures consequently. He exclaimed that such modalities are being puzzled out. Builders from their end have to obey the TIA guidelines.
