Government Provides Rs 30 Cr for Khammamam Infrastructure Developments

A GO has been issued by the State Government giving administrative sanctions for the release of Rs 30 crore to various developmental activities in Khammam city.

While his visit to Khammam on December 7, IT, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao had guaranteed that, the government would approve Rs 30 crore for the development of roads in the city response to a request made by Khammam MLA and Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar.

The amount was approved under the Special Development Fund (SDF) in compliance with the assurance given on December 7, and the District Collector was asked to make arrangements for the grounding of the activities.

On Tuesday, Ajay Kumar got a copy of GO from Rama Rao in Hyderabad. The Minister of Transport thanked the Municipal Administration and the Minister of Urban Development for granting the funds in a statement. This massive fund's sanction will assist road repairs and the laying of new roads in Khammam Municipal Corporation's 11 to 48 divisions.
