State Government to Assign 2BHK Houses in Siddipet on Dec 10 2020

On Thursday, Dec 10, 2020, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will inaugurate 2BHK Houses in Siddipet. This gated community comprises 2,460 two-bedroom houses constructed at the cost of Rs 163 crores by the government at Narsapur on the outskirts of Siddipet town.

The Government Medical College at Siddipet, developed at the cost of Rs 135 crore, will also be inaugurated on the same day by the Chief Minister.

Government Development Projects

The Ranganayaka Sagar guest house constructed in the middle of the Ranganayaka Sagar reservoir would also be inaugurated by KCR. At the cost of Rs 8.00 Cr, this guest house was built. Also, to launch Rs 278 crore underground drainage system in Siddipet town.   

The Chief Minister would also set the groundwork for several development projects, including a government hospital with a capacity of 960 beds at an approximate cost of Rs 225 crore, at Mittapally village Rythu Vedika building, and a vipanchi auditorium. He would later address a public meeting on the same day on the grounds of the government degree college.

The areas were inspected by Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Saturday, ahead of the Chief Minister's visit. He requested officials to meet and review the speed of work and appoint officials to their responsibilities. Among the officials attending the meeting were District Collector Venkatarama Reddy, Police Commissioner Joel Davis of Siddipet, and other officials.

Additional 1,000 2BHK’s to Come Up in Siddipet 

On Tuesday, 8th Dec 2020, Minister of Finance T Harish Rao informed that he would ask Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to approve another 1,000 2BHK houses for Siddipet in addition to the 2,460 houses already built when he latter visits Siddipet on 10 December 2020.

The Minister provided new clothes to the beneficiaries of the double-bedroom houses in a heart-warming initiative after giving them over-allotment certificates. At the Vipanchi Auditorium Harish Rao stated that the housewarming ceremony would be celebrated on 10 December by the 144 beneficiaries who were awarded certificates today.

A total of 1,341 beneficiaries were identified for the houses built in the colony of Narsapur double bedroom housing, the remaining houses would be handed over in a gradual manner.

Harish Rao said the government would build an additional 1,000 homes after delivering the 2,460 houses , adding that it wanted to build a house for each and every homeless person. The government will also approve funds for individuals who want to build houses on their own land.
