Telangana Electricity Utilities Chalked Out to Deal Monsoon Difficulties

Telangana Power utilities are ready to meet the monsoon's energy supply difficulties in all sectors. The TSSPDCL, TSTRANSCO, and TSGENCO developed an action plan to maintain uninterrupted supply during the current monsoon, primarily in the GHMC area.

Telangana Electricity Utilities Action Plans

D Prabhakar Rao, chairman and managing director of Transco and GENCO, has instructed field personnel to ensure that electricity is maintained in their jurisdiction and that line approval is not taken randomly without adequate programming. When it comes to tree cuttings, it's important to avoid cutting trees down to the root level. It should only be trimmed to the necessary length.

Because the majority of consumer mobile numbers have already been mapped, line clearances for any maintenance work should be advertised in media and also informed to consumers via SMS.

The CMD further directed that line clearances be taken on a scheduled area-by-area basis for maintenance and other purposes, so that area customers are aware of the maintenance schedule.

CMD G Raghuma Reddy addressed the technical approaches to field officers in detail in order to ensure an uninterrupted supply while also increasing income in order to maintain the image of power utilities. To avoid breakdowns, he requested the engineers to inspect the substations, lines, and transformers on a regular basis. Also instructed them to develop both short- and long-term plans to ensure supply reliability.
