Telangana Initiates Cutting-edge Technologies to Deal Third Wave threat

The state government of Telangana is planning to deal with the threat of a possible third wave of Covid-19 by employing a variety of cutting-edge technologies. It's worth noting that a very virulent "Delta Plus" type of coronavirus is expected to cause a third wave, which will be more severe than the previous two Covid-19 waves.

New Technologies Plans to Deal Third Wave Challenge

The state government has eased the limitations on the lockdown as the number of novel coronavirus infections has decreased and the pandemic's trajectory has reduced. The state's medical and health authorities, on the other hand, are keeping a close eye on any potential spike in cases. The State government has opted to deploy Artificial Intelligence, Data, and related technologies as part of its readiness.

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Department of Information Technology, Electronics, and Communications (ICT), stated, During the first wave of Covid, AI and other technologies were utilized to assess the infectious transaction of the novel coronavirus in order to manage Covid effectively. The technology simulation models aided in identifying areas of concern, taking actions to identify and manage containment zones, and making decisions to address the numerous difficulties in Covid management.

When the second wave of novel coronaviruses sprang out of nowhere, the same could not be said. As a result of this experience, a command control will be developing a set of technologies that the government hopes will aid in making proper decisions and initiating appropriate measures in the case of Covid's third wave.

On June 26, according to Jayesh Ranjan, the unified control will be inaugurated with a variety of cutting-edge technologies. He mentioned that this will better prepare the state to deal with any issues brought by a potential third wave of Covid-19.
