The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is developing a theme park at  Tolichowki to provide recreational facilities for citizens, especially for women and children. 

The Hakeempet Theme Park would consist of different types of trees, a gazebo, children's games, and the water pond under the Nanalnagar division. The Park has been sanctioned funds of about Rs 70 lakh. 

The Park was not being maintained according to the Nanal Nagar division corporator, and GHMC endorsed the works after the area MLA was represented and the existing park would be developed based on a subject. 

Theme-based Park at Tolichowki 

Recently, the civic body approved the park's activities, including the construction of footpaths, boundary walls, and fencing, and later, after a request from the MLA, the GHMC authorized more money for the theme-based park development. 

The park's ambiance was focused on development projects involving the building of roads inside the park, drilling of the bore well, entry door along the arch, building pathways, and constructing of Gazebo. The project also included the construction of the water pond. 

The existing park is being renovated with better facilities, basic services, and innovative elements to attract the local population. Borewells have already been completed on the path and drilling. Greenery, plants, playing equipment installation, port works are underway. Mahboob Ali inspected the work and instructed MLA Kausar Mohiuddin and GHMC Deputy Executive Engineer Sanauddin, AE Kaleemuddin to complete the project soon.  

The locals at Hakeempet said that it is the only lung space in the area. After this park was renovated, it would be a good place to spend leisure timings for the children, and even for the elderly.
