GHMC sent notice to 3500 residential property owner 

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) sent notice to 3500 residential property owners running commercial activities. Though the permits were given for residential purposes, the property owners were running commercial activities right under the nose of GHMC. For this reason, GHMC sent notices to control the commercial activities running in residential areas without the permission of the concerned authority.  

Residential property has been misused for running boutiques, beauty parlors, shops, and offices. However, the civic body warned the owners to convert the building into commercial space or stop misusing it. 

GHMC has been working around the clock to keep a check on such activities. GHMC has released a list of 118 new roads for a commercial stretch to develop the commercial hub in Hyderabad and its outskirts.
