Telangana Ranks High in Sustainable Development Programs

In sustainability ratings, Telangana ranks sixth compared to last year, it has improved the state's score to 69 from 67 out of 100 points.

The state has done great work with its flagship 2BHK, but has some distance to cover for all in terms of housing - this is one of the sustainable development goals. The State has already achieved the goals with regard to clean drinking water supplies and energy supply.

Sustainability Development Plans

Speaking at the Press Conference of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Sustainability Summit 2021 in October, Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan stated that Entrepreneurs have to achieve their sustainability goals by 2030. The efforts should be no longer carried out and the pandemic disruption should not be delayed. In this context, the TiE Sustainability Summit will aim to give a guideline to the work done in the achievement of these objectives for sustainability.

The State also works towards empowering women through SHGs and it also launched a WE Hub, a women-centered entrepreneurial incubator. He decided to call on TiE and the people involved in implementing SDGs to bring all stakeholders into one platform and stated that all SDG targets need the participation of many stakeholders, and the government alone is incapable of achieving them.
