Hyderabad Property Details Survey Temporarily Stalled in State

With all officials occupied with relief operations in different areas, the GHMC has temporarily suspended the survey of property details in Telangana.

Property Survey Halted Temporarily

Because of heavy rains, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation decided to temporarily stop the survey work of properties in Telangana under the city limits. In view of the rain situation and the involvement of officials and employees of various departments in relief works, this was determined.

Sources from the Municipal Corporation announced that the initiative launched on the Dharani portal to record property information had been temporarily stalled.

The survey work will not be resumed until the state government makes further orders. During the review session of the damage caused by the rains, Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao directed the officials to deploy more officials and staff for relief work.

Among the flood victims, it was proposed to distribute CM Relief Kits which consist of food items worth Rs 2800 and three blankets to each family. Also, Rs 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of Tur Daal, half kg of edible oil, 200 gm of chilli powder, 100 gm of turmeric powder, 200 gm of sambar powder, 1 kg of salt, 250 gm of turmeric, 1 kg of flour and 100 gm of tea will be given to affected families.

It must be recognised that the property survey work was already being carried out at a slow pace. Some citizens have objection on the questions asked in the survey as a result municipal workers conducting the survey but did not get cooperation by the public.
