The listing of non-agricultural properties on the Dharani portal under GHMC limits has been put on hold temporarily. 

The applicants could enter details, but they were unable to submit the details. The GHMC official stated that because of the rains, the listing of properties was temporarily halted in the city. To attend the rain-related complaints, all workers have been pressed into action.

Dharani Portal to be Resumed on Dussehra

Chief Secretary to the State government Somesh Kumar stated here on Saturday 17 October that CM K Chandrasekhar Rao plans to start the Dharani portal on 25 October, which would set the country's trend for the registration of non-agricultural properties.

A comprehensive presentation is made on the functioning of the new portal in a video conference held with District Collectors, Additional Collectors, Tahsildars and Naib (Deputy) Tahsildars. Dharani platform would be the most innovative, state-of-the-art, transparent, accountable, secure, safe, hassle-free and discretion-less portal. It will become a trend-setter for the entire country.

The system will ensure full accountability and eliminate discretion as per the vision of the Chief Minister. Under the system, Tahsildars would act as Joint Sub-Registrars of all 570 mandals, while the Sub-Registrar Officers would register non-agricultural properties from 142 locations.

Instructions were given to the Collectors to ensure 100 percent preparedness in terms of staff and infrastructure for Dharani portal. And at least ten transactions should be performed by all Tahsildars by Sunday. The collectors were directed to make sure that Dharani's hardware facilities were completely functional.

In addition, the District Collectors are suggested to hold regular coordination meetings with power distribution company (Discoms) engineers, broadband service providers and representatives of Telangana State Technological Services (TSTS) to ensure that Dharani services should not be interrupted. Also, the Tahsildars should rise to the occasion and be ready to introduce the new system-Dharani portal.
