The Tank Bund road is likely to attract more tourists and add character to the city's landscape as the HMDA has started to renew the footpaths and beautify the lawns along the stretch to give it an aesthetic look.

Beautification Works at Tank Bund by HMDA

On both sides of the Tank Bund, in particular, the walking arena and lighting, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority has undertaken road improvement work. The work was started after HMDA had been directed to restructure the Tank Bund route by KTR, Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development.

The work has begun with a full flow which would provide some very pleasant experiences soon. It will regain its place as a family outing. At the bottom, there is going to be another horizontal bar to cover the gap from a safety perspective. The installation has already started.

HMDA plans to enhance more green spaces by maintaining a beautiful green lawn, providing footpaths and ensuring regular maintenance of the city.
