Hyderabad citizens complaints about sewage overflow

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewage Board (HMWS&SB) inaugurated a helpline number for citizens to communicate the water supply and sewage overflowing issues. The water board obtained approximately 6,600 complaints from the overall city due to the heavy downpours in the past few days. Several areas are being observed as hotspots. These areas continually report overflowing problems and express how it causes difficulty to the citizens.

Locals exclaimed that they have been facing water inundation and other problems for the past five years. Despite several expressions to the government, a permanent solution wasn't provided by the administrators.

Several areas in Nagole are water-logged because of the continuous overflow of sewage water regardless of the massive rain being received in recent times. Water flowing from the lake is also arising other clogging and sewage problems, as asserted by M Kishore, a resident of Nagole.

The water board has established a special task force assigned to solve the sewage issues in the city shortly. The board officials stated that they would resort to special regulations and permanent outcomes to solve all these problems being faced.
