Kothaguda flyover to be accessible from June 2022

Kothaguda flyover to be accessible from June 2022

Traffic jams cause severe unrest in the crucial junctions of Hyderabad's IT corridors. Undertaking the construction project of the multi-level unidirectional flyover at Botanical Gardens, crossing Kothaguda and Kondapur Junctions, waves goodbye to these prevailing problems.

The multi-level flyover costs approximately Rs 263.09 crore and is under the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) Phase- 3. The project aims at lowering traffic snarls at Botanical Garden, Kothaguda, and Kondapur and their vicinities and is predicted to end by June 2022.

As exclaimed by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials, the project will solve traffic problems entirely at the busy junctions of Botanical Garden, Kothaguda, and the Kondapur Junction.

These three junctions are T-intersections with very little room between them, and hence, traffic jams are dreadful during peak hours.

The flyover is 470 m long and 11 m wide. It begins near Harsha Toyota, Kondapur, and ends at Sarath City Capital Mall. It facilitates traffic from Gachibowli flowing towards Kondapur and other areas. For travelers from Kondapur to Gachibowli, a uni-directional three-lane underpass is being built near Kothaguda Junctions.
