HMDA Generates Revenue Of Rs 503.4 Cr Through E-Auctioning Of Plots
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) generated a revenue of Rs 503.448 crores through e-auctioning plots located in different parts of the State of Telangana.
Few plots which were auctioned as mentioned above were in Bahadurpally, Thorrur, Mahabubnagar, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kama Reddy, Peddapalli, Adilabad, and Vikarabad.
The auction began on March 14 and successfully concluded on March 17.
The greatest revenue that had been induced through the auction were the plots located in Thorrur (Rs 152.02 crores) followed by Bahadurpally (Rs 146.55 crores), and Mahbubnagar (Rs 75.65 crores).
Whilst the standard bid price in Thorrur remained at Rs 28,566 per square yard, the average bid price in Bahadurpally was at RS 29,833.83 per square yard.
Meanwhile, the standard bid price for plots in Mahbubnagar was set at Rs 17,009.44 per square yard.
The Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) Special Chief Secretary and Metropolitan Commissioner Arvind Kumar stated on Twitter that the auction showed the growth of Telangana.
The official tweet said, “Government of #Telangana successfully auctioned residential plots in districts and realized Rs 500 CRS in the last three days Reaffirms the robustness of state’s economy and citizens confidence @KTRTRS."
