34,540 People Used The GHMC's Early Bird Scheme To Pay Their Property Taxes
In just two days, a total amount of Rs 13.90 crores was added to the coffers of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
In these, a round-off number of 34,540 persons were paying their property tax using online modes. The taxes were paid by this mode under the civic body’s Property Tax Early Bird Scheme.
Under this Property Tax Early Bird Scheme, a 5 percent rebate which is applicable on property tax was being offered to building owners.
The last date for building owners to avail of this discount has been dated April 30.
The rebate is being provided only on the current year’s tax and not on any of the prior years and arrears.
The civic body has sent the respective text messages to all the prospective property owners and sent them a respective web link as well.
The ones who are willing to avail of this available offer can pay the property tax online. The owners can use the web link or visit the link https://www.ghmc.gov.in/.
From the 6th of April, the taxes can also be paid by reaching the GHMC Citizen Services Centres, MeeSeva Centers, and through other available bill collectors.
