Telangana's Revenue From Stamps & Registration Has Surpassed Rs 12k Cr

The Department of Stamps and Registration of the State of Telangana collected a record amount of total revenue received in the years 2021 and 2022.  

The amount received was tallied at Rs 12,364 crores by the end of the fiscal year which is currently going on i.e. 2022. The amount has been tallied on the 31st of March. 

Officials seem to believe that the revenue priorly recorded was only valued at Rs 5,260 crores during the year 2020-21.  

It had been released from some sources that in the month of March solely this year, the Department of Stamps and Registration witnessed a drastic revenue increase and drastically earned an amount of nearly Rs 1,500 crores.  

The Department of Stamps and Registrations has crossed the line of the Rs 12,000 crore target which had been fixed by them in this ongoing year of 2022. They believe this is owed to the growth in the real estate sector in the state of Telangana. 

This happenstance has occurred for the very first time in the history of the State of Telangana such that the total revenue received and recorded has crossed the borderline of Rs 12,000 crores.
