Bahadurpura Flyover Is Set To Open On 19th April 2022

The six-lane bi-directional flyover which is being constructed at Bahadurpura will be inaugurated on Tuesday(19th April 2022).

The flyover will be inaugurated by none but the Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao. The date of inauguration had been announced by the Minister on social media through the means of Twitter. 

The exact statement that the Minister had tweeted was “Will be inaugurating the Bahadurpura flyover on 19th #SRDP #Hyderabad." 

The flyover has completed its work and is ready to be opened to the public. It is being constructed as a part of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) which was formulated by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.  

The flyover was allocated the budget with an estimation that it would cost nearly around Rs 69 crores.  

The flyover is stretched to 690 meters and the success of this construction will bring much-needed relief to commuters moving in different directions via the busy Bahadurpura Junction and also to the people visiting the Nehru Zoological Park. 

For the process of building this flyover at Bahadurpura, a total number of 45 properties were required to be acquired and the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution utilities had to be shifted to make this project happen.
