Two New SRDP Projects To Be Inaugurated On 16th Of March

SRDP has developed 2 major projects to ease traffic in the eastern part of the city, and they will commence from 16th of March 2022. 

Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister, KT Rama Rao will inaugurate the Bairamalguda Left Hand Side Flyover costing approximately ₹28.64 crore and LB Nagar Right Hand Side underpass built, costing ₹40 crores. 

While the Bairamalguda flyover will ease traffic coming from Owaisi Hospital junction and moving towards Uppal Junction, the underpass will smoothen the traffic coming from Uppal and move towards Owaisi Junction. 

The GHMC said in a press release that the usefulness of these projects is a hassle-free commute on the Uppal-Owaisi Junction route and considerate saving of traveling time. 

The GHMC said that these facilities will fasten commute speed, improve road safety and level of service for commuters, and decrease pollution. 

In the last few years, the Uppal- LB Nagar area has become an active region with many residential units, office spaces, and commercial establishments mushrooming along the road, which has intensified the traffic problems.  

Because of the state government’s growth in dispersion policy, companies are also broadening in the eastern part of the city further increasing the traffic viscosity on the Uppal-LB Nagar stretch.
