GHMC Panel Approves 29 Development Proposals

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Standing Committee had held an official meeting, regarding the approval of the proposals they had been receiving. On this day, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had collectively approved a total of 29 proposals from the ones they had received.  

Among the proposals which had been received and were approved, most of them included those that pertained to road widening, road restoration, lake beautification, and a few other works categorized under civic works. 

The proposal to hand over the conservation and the development of Ranglal Kunta in Nanakramguda and the Kotha Kunta in Hafeezpet to some companies under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) were approved by the higher authorities. 

The proposal which was to allow a company that put its foot forward to adopt and undertake the development of the Kotha Cheruvu in Shaikpet had also been approved by the authorities and this provided relief to some developers and property owners. The meeting that had been held here was chaired by Mayor Vijaya Laxmi. They were also accompanied by the presence of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Commission's (GHMC's) Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar along with some others.
