Hyderabad To Have 340km Of Regional Ring Road
A Regional Ring Road (RRR) which will extend for 340 kilometers is currently in the works for the capital.
The Finance Minister, T Harish Rao had revealed in the Assembly that land acquisition works for the Regional Ring Road (RRR) are currently progressing. These stated works have already been started in the Northern part of the city of Hyderabad.
The Finance Minister, T Harish Rao had said in the assembly that as the city of Hyderabad is expanding extremely quickly, the Government has made a proposal that there should be a Regional Ring Road (RRR), in addition to the Outer Ring Road.
Along with lessening the traffic congestion, RRR would decrease the average time taken to travel from the districts to Hyderabad.
T Harish Rao, the Finance Minister also added that the proposal made for the regional Ring Road would be built beyond 30 km from the Outer Ring Road, over a total calculated length of 340 km.
He then proceeded to say that “This RRR road will certainly give a fillip to the development of the State. The land acquisition works in the Northern part of the Regional Ring Road have already commenced."
