Steel Bridge To Ease Traffic On Jubilee Hills-Shaikpet Route

IT hub has correspondingly grown with Jubilee Hills into a busy commercial hub, increasing traffic highly.

Authorities want to ensure smooth traffic flow through Shaikpet.

Remedying this, the construction of a four-lane steel bridge at Silent Lake Valley, Road Number 51, Jubilee Hills is progressing rapidly. This will be the fifth steel bridge in Hyderabad.

The 290-meter four-lane steel bridge is being built by the HRDCL and costs approximately Rs 23 crores.

Minor civic works are progressing around the steel bridge at Road Number 51 and the service roads are also being formulated.

HRDCL officials told, "Using this facility, traffic from Shaikpet towards Jubilee Hills will move smoothly and the travel time too will decrease considerably."

Taking the steel bridge, the traffic can go up to Leather Park in Old Bombay as well.

The steel bridge was made accessible to the public before this was at Punjagutta. The facility, introduced in January, made commuting to the KBR Park Junction from Nagarjuna Circle, Panjagutta to Banjara Hills Road Number 3 a distinct experience with the new Punjagutta Access Road Steel Bridge and the widened road relieving the usual traffic along the way. This was also the second steel bridge at Punjagutta.
