Telangana Government To Give Rs 3 Lakh Aid To Poor To Build 2BHK House

People who belong to the sections of the economy which are comparatively weaker also own lands but don’t have pucca houses. These people suffering from such a problem will be furnished with Rs 3 lakh of financial assistance by the state government so they can construct and reside in 2BHK houses. 

The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to provide this assistance to a total number of four lakh families in the current financial year of 2022-2023. 

The Assembly constituency will be covering 3,000 beneficiaries, and the MLAs will have authority for the allotment of a total of 3.57 lakh beneficiaries in all. The remaining 43,000 beneficiaries would be at the discretion of the Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao. 

The state government has allocated a total of Rs 12,000 crores for the housing sector for the year 2022-23 fiscal compared to the Rs 11,000 crores in the 2021-22 budget. 

Opposition leaders including the Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy along with the CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka have strongly ruled out the TRS government stating that K Chandrasekhar Rao had made a promise to give Rs 5 lakh financial assistance to plot owners.
